Founded in 2007, Light Squared Labs is a designer, manufacturer and integrator of energy efficient components and products for diverse LED light applications. Our goal is to develop an efficient light source based on LED technology to promote energy conservation.

We have applied years of expertise in electronics, power management and lighting to develop industry leading T8 LED tube based on our proprietary LEDR™ Technology that meets highest level of standards/certifications such as UL 1598B, UL 1993, UL 8750, ANSI C78.377 and CSA. Our T8 linear tube has been tested by US Department of Energy (DOE) approved lab for LM- 79-08. Light Squared Labs T8 Linear Tube was the first to be granted the ETL mark for UL 1598B.

Light Squared Labs is privately owned and is led by an experienced management team with successful backgrounds in electronics, power management, lighting, global distribution, sales and marketing. We are based in the picturesque Pacific Northwest of USA on the banks of the Columbia River with Mt Hood as its backdrop. Light Squared Labs is a subsidiary of NCS Power Inc, a leader in power management technology and holds several patents.

NCS Power began its journey as an engineering firm 23 years ago. It has been on the cutting edge of power management, developing battery systems for projects ranging from medical applications to military UAVs. NCS is now finding ways to increase LED performance while decreasing the amount of energy needed. NCS has successfully parlayed their deep bench of power management expertise from battery technology to LED technology.
